Find a machine, ride it, park it
Revvit is the app you use to rent an ATV or a scooter from a rental shop that runs on Revvit. This is what to expect.
Before your first ride
You sign in with your phone number — we text you a code, and that is your account. Add your name and driver licence once, and top up your wallet. The wallet is what rentals are charged against, so there is no card to hand over at the counter and no deposit to argue about at the end.
The app is in English, Spanish and French.
On the ride
The map shows the machines that are ready right now. Pick one, and Revvit holds the cost of your ride and releases the ignition. Your rental clock starts when the machine is yours, and the app shows what you are spending as you go.
Ending the rental
Park where the rental shop told you to, photograph the parked machine in the app, and end the rental. You are charged for the minutes you used. Tell us how the ride went — if something was wrong with the machine, the shop sees it against that rental.
Ride like it is someone's livelihood
It is. Helmet on, licence with you, and the machine back on its wheels with fuel in it. The rules of the road where you are renting still apply, and so do the rental shop's own conditions.

Where do I get the app?
The Revvit app is in development for iOS and Android. Until it is in the stores, the rental shop you are renting from will tell you how to install it. Ask us if you are stuck.
What does a rental cost?
The rental shop sets its own rate per minute, and the app shows it before you start and while you ride. Revvit charges you what the clock says, nothing else.
The machine will not start.
Check the app is showing an active rental and that you are next to the right machine — the ignition is released over Bluetooth, so your phone has to be within a few metres. If it still will not start, end the rental in the app and contact the rental shop.
I lost signal in the middle of nowhere.
Your rental keeps running. The machine stores what it recorded and reports it when it has signal again, and you can end the rental once you are back in coverage.
Who has my location?
The machine reports its position to the rental shop that owns it while the rental is running — that is how they know where their machines are. The privacy notice explains what is kept and for how long.
